Not a robber; just lost

Viral video made many think man was trying to rob a Lakewood home.

A video has gone viral of a man supposedly trying to break into a woman’s home right after she and her children entered. Turns out, he was only lost.

The video was captured of a man trying to enter a Lakewood home right after the female, who was on the telephone and carrying two toddlers, just entered. However, Mayor Jeff Wood at tonight’s City Council meeting confirmed that the man was trying to go to the house of someone he knew, but had got lost.

The video made quite a stir, being picked up by such news channels as Fox 11 News.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department would be letting people know more about the incident, Wood said.

Councilman Todd Rogers noted that law enforcement had contacted the family involved in the incident the next morning.
